1st day
Arrival in CARNIA - Friuli Venezia Giulia
Arrival with you own car in SUTRIO, village that has become part of the “Borghi Autentici” of Italy. Accommodation in a TWO-ROOM Apartment, with overnight stay only in “Albergo Diffuso”.
It is possible to rent a car at airport/railways station, see supplement.
Pleasant walk for the happiness of the little ones to discover the animals of the widespread farm, cows, chickens, donkeys, goats and deer.

2nd day
A day in the MOUNTAIN PASTURES
Departure by car along an unpaved but easily passable and arrival at Malga Pramosio (at 1520 meters) from here begins an easy trek that leads to Lake Avostanis (at 1936 meters), of glacial origin. Upon returning for snack at the hut Malga Pramosio. Here the Screm family will welcome you and delight your palate with typical Carnic cuisine. In the late afternoon you reach Timau for a visit to the interesting Museum of the Great War 1915-1918. In the evening dinner in restaurant in Paluzza.

3rd day
Discovering LAKE DIMON
Departure to Castel Valdajer (at 1350 meters) and trekking to reach Lake Dimon (at 1850 meters), with a panorama that ranges from Carnic Alpins to Julian Alps. Free packed lunch. In the afternoon guided tour in Cercivento where mosaics, mural and frescoes on the walls of public and private houses have transformed this small village into “An Open Air Bible”.

4th day
Mount ZONCOLAN
Departure to Mt. Zoncolan, the mountain famous for the exciting stages of the “Giro d’Italia”. A nice walk at high altitude between mountain huts and green pastures, until you reach Malga Pozof where you can visit the Gortani family farm. Lunch with Pic & Taste basket prepared by the Gortani farmhouse with the products of the hut, to be consumed in the surrounding meadows. In the afternoon possibility to relax at the Thermal Baths of Arta Terme. In the evening tasting dinner in “Osteria” that is a typical place serving wine and local specialities.

Goodbye CARNIA
In the morning visit of the “Bon Dai” Craft Brewery with tasting.
Day at leisure and end of the tour.
